Bulk Image Downloader · Last updated July 17, 2026
In short: Bulk Image Downloader does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data. There is no server and no account. Everything it does happens on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. The extension has no server, no account system, and no analytics backend. We never receive any information about you, the pages you visit, or the images you download.

How the extension uses information on your device

To do its job, the extension works entirely inside your browser and never sends anything anywhere:

Optional, anonymous usage statistics

The extension includes a usage-statistics setting that is off by default. In the current version, turning it on does not transmit anything — event recording is a local no-op, and no data leaves your device.

If a future version introduces product analytics, it will remain strictly opt-in and content-free: it would record only anonymous, aggregate signals such as which features were used and simple counts (for example, "a ZIP was created"), and would never include URLs, page addresses, filenames, search terms, or any image data. This page will be updated before any such collection is enabled, and you can turn the setting off at any time in the extension's Settings.

Permissions

The extension requests only the permissions it needs to function:

Data sharing and sale

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone — because we never collect it in the first place.

Children's privacy

The extension is a general-purpose utility, is not directed at children, and collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the extension handles information, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above. For any new data collection, we will also surface it inside the extension before it takes effect.
